Nicole Chiu-Wang is a tech entrepreneur and small business owner, attorney, mother to two young children and daughter of public servants. Nicole received undergraduate degrees in Women’s Studies and Asian American Studies from UC Irvine and a law degree from Loyola Law School of Los Angeles. Nicole owned and operated a small business for nearly a decade. During this same time, she also co-founded a successful fashion technology startup that was acquired by Google. Nicole spent 4.5 years at Google, where she drove strategy for products serving small and medium businesses and volunteered both formally and informally as a mentor for students, recent grads and entrepreneurs. 

She has a passion for stepping up to represent historically underrepresented groups and individuals and for driving actionable solutions to address systemic problems within the education system. Nicole strongly believes that representation matters for all members of our diverse community to be seen and heard and for our children to see people that look like them in our leadership. 

In addition to serving as Executive Director of Pathwise, Nicole serves on the Executive Committee for the Silicon Valley / San Jose Chapter of the NAACP and is the Chair of the Education Subcomittee. In addition, Nicole is active within many organizations including Palo Alto Chinese Parents Club, PreSchool Family, NARAL Leadership Council, League of Women Voters, and Silicon Valley APA Democratic Club.
